The Dallas Easter Run is a downtown Dallas tradition. This speedy city course is truly a downtown experience. Runners will traverse through the Museum District while zipping past Meyers Symphony and west end before turning the corner for the final approach. Fun, fast and truly exciting.

Each registration includes entry into the best Post-Race Hot Breakfast you've ever tasted, 4-Mile or Family Mile run, Cash Prizes, Age Group Awards, Your Timing Chip( 4 Mile only), Dry-Fit Shirt, Gear Check, and Kid's Activities!
In the spirit of competition, the First Dallas Easter Run is one of the only short-distance races in the State of Texas offering monetary awards in addition to age group awards. Monetary awards run 1-3 in male, female and masters division. Age group awards are explained below.

Sure, the course is great and the atmosphere is energetic, but what about the goodies? The First Dallas Easter Run does not skimp on runner perks. These goodies include high-quality event shirts, great age group awards and a delicious post-race hot breakfast! Check out 2016 swag below.
Packet Pick-Up instructions and locations are listed below. We strongly encourage all runners to pick up their packets during the designated times. Hover over the drop pins for a location and click on them for further instruction. Locations are in red and parking is in green.

Below are some common questions that come through our inbox as well as general guidelines for the First Dallas Easter Run.
Is the 4-Miler Timed?
Yes. All registered runners who signed up and picked up their race packets for the 4-Mile race will be timed via a bib tag system.
Is the Family Mile Timed?
No. The Family Mile is a fun event for the whole family! Enjoy your time out there, run with the little ones and cheer on those nearby.
Is the course USATF certified?
Yes, the Easter Run 4-Mile course is USATF Certified.
Can I pick up my packet on race day?
Participants are highly encouraged to pick up their packets during the designated packet pick up times. A friend or family member can pick up your packet with a copy of your event confirmation.

Is there food after the event?
Yes! All registered runners will have access to our amazing post race hot breakfast inside First Dallas. Family members are also able to obtain vouchers to partake in the feast!
Are there age group awards?
Yes, the ages groups will be 14 and under and every five years until reaching 70.
Can I update my registration?
Yes, the race change option will be done by a participant logging into their account and clicking a button to change. Participants will then pay the difference if moving from the 1 Mile to the 4 Mile and nothing if moving down from the 4 Mile to the 1 Mile. No refunds for those wanting to move from the 4 Mile to the 1 Mile.
Is the race open to walkers?
Yes, both the 4-Mile distance and the Family Mile are open to run or walk. Please be courteous of others and start at the back of the pack as to avoid any collisions.
Will you email me information closer to the event?
Yes, we will start to email updates one month prior to the event.
Should I be getting updates in my email inbox?
Please make sure you are checking your spam and promotions box as it is possible your security settings don’t allow our emails to go to your inbox. You should start to receive emails a few weeks out from race day.
Is there an age minimum or maximum?
No, the races are open to all ages as long as the participant can run or walk under their own power. Kids in strollers or adults in wheelchairs are good for either the 4-mile or Family Mile.
Where are the port-o-johns located?
Restrooms can be used within the facility of First Baptist Dallas
I can't run. Can I still get my packet?
Yes, please stop by the packet pick-up location to get your bib and gift bag. Remember, we encourage no race day packet pick-up.
I can't run. Can I get a refund or transfer my entry?
Unfortunately, all participant entries are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Can you mail me my packet?
Unfortunately, packets can only be picked up during the predetermined packet pick-up times.
I cannot find my name, but I'm positive I registered. Who do I contact?
You can verify your registration by clicking the link, logging onto your account, and clicking on the “my account” icon.
Are there turn-by-turn directions and road closure times posted?
Yes, please visit the Route section for more information.
Are there restrictions on elite athletes pursuing the monetary awards?
Yes, eligible athletes must be able to compete on behalf of the United States of America in Olympic Championship OR be residents of Dallas to claim monetary awards.
